These cards are designed to create flexible student groupings using numbers, colours, and symbols. Students receive one card and are instructed to form groups based on a given criterion (e.g., same colour, same number, same symbols, same coour of symbol).
This task encourages communication in English and promotes collaboration, making it ideal for CLIL settings where both language and content are developed simultaneously.
Examples of grouping criteria:
Same colour, different number
Same number, different symbol
All have even/odd numbers
Mixed group: one of each colour
Once grouped, students can complete a follow-up task.
