This series of five electricity experiments is designed for bilingual science classes (CLIL). The focus is not only on understanding electricity but also on developing English language skills in a meaningful context.
We deliberately chose inquiry-based learning (students discover through building, testing and reflecting) rather than only teacher demonstration. This supports:
• Curiosity and motivation – students learn by doing.
• Higher-order thinking – students analyse and evaluate their results.
• Active language use – students describe, explain and justify in English.
