We are a group of teaching professionals committed to supporting bilingual education and helping colleagues in their daily teaching practice.
Many TTO (Tweetalig Onderwijs) teachers spend significant extra time developing supplementary teaching materials because the prescribed methods and textbooks do not offer sufficient support for their students’ language development. Often, these books are merely translations of Dutch texts, which may not align with students’ language proficiency or provide inadequate support for learning new vocabulary. By collaborating, teachers can save time and make their work processes more efficient.
Bilingual Treasury supports collaboration and resource sharing among bilingual educators, leading to improved teaching outcomes. By facilitating the exchange of educational resources, we aim to create a collaborative environment that helps teachers strengthen their lessons and better support students’ bilingual development.

Our Mission
As educators who work in classrooms every day, we are familiar with the specific challenges that bilingual secondary school educators encounter across the Netherlands. Our goal is to support colleagues by providing a platform for sharing and exchanging adapted educational resources that strengthen teaching practices and help develop students’ bilingual skills. Recognizing a pressing need for high-quality educational materials, we launched Bilingual Treasury to create a collaborative hub where teachers can come together, share resources, and inspire one another.
